Your Trusted Low-Fare Flight Agency
Last Updated: January 1, 2025 | FareFlightTravels.us
FareFlightTravels.us is operated by Sri Tharani Enterprise Co., Ltd and books flights through Sea and Sky Travel Solutions Private Limited (IATA License No. 14025685). Because we book on behalf of airlines, refund eligibility is governed primarily by the airline's own fare conditions — not solely by our policies.
To request a cancellation or refund, contact us immediately at (844) 205-4177 or email contact@fareflighttravels.us. The sooner you reach out, the more options may be available to you.
| Fare Type | Refund Eligibility | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Fully Refundable | Refund available (less fees) | Airline penalty and our service fee may apply depending on notice given |
| Partially Refundable | Taxes/fees may be refunded | Base fare is typically forfeited; government taxes often recoverable |
| Non-Refundable | No refund on base fare | Some airlines may offer travel credit in lieu of a cash refund |
| Basic Economy / Promotional | Generally non-refundable | Non-changeable and non-refundable from time of purchase in most cases |
For refundable fares, airlines generally apply the following cancellation penalty framework. Actual penalties vary by airline, route, cabin class, and fare:
| Time Before Departure | Typical Airline Penalty | Potential Refund |
|---|---|---|
| Within 24 hrs of purchase (ticket purchased 7+ days out) |
No penalty (US DOT Rule) | Full fare refundable for qualifying US itineraries |
| 7+ days before departure | Low to moderate airline fee | Majority of fare minus airline fee and our service fee |
| 3–6 days before departure | Moderate to significant fee | Partial refund or airline travel credit |
| 0–48 hours before departure | High penalty (often 100%) | Government taxes only, if applicable |
| No-Show | 100% forfeiture | No refund in most cases |
For tickets booked for travel originating in the United States and purchased at least 7 days before the scheduled departure, the US Department of Transportation requires airlines to offer a full refund if the ticket is cancelled within 24 hours of purchase. We will pass through this benefit where the airline offers it. Our own service fee may still be retained per our policy.
If the airline cancels your flight or makes a significant schedule change (generally defined as a departure time change of 2 hours or more, or a routing change), you are generally entitled to one of the following options at the airline's discretion:
We will assist you in evaluating and submitting your preferred option to the airline. Final decisions and processing timelines are governed by airline policy and are outside our direct control.
To change travel dates, routing, cabin class, or passenger names, contact us at (844) 205-4177 as early as possible. Changes are subject to: airline seat and fare availability, any fare difference between the original and new fare, airline-imposed change fees, and our amendment service fee. In many cases, a change may be more economical than a full cancellation and rebooking — our agents will advise you on the best approach.
In circumstances of extraordinary events — such as natural disasters, pandemics, government travel restrictions, or acts of war — airlines may offer special waivers, travel credits, or refunds in accordance with their specific policies for that event. We will communicate all available options to you as soon as information is confirmed by the airline. We are not independently liable for force majeure circumstances.
If you have a billing concern or believe you are owed a refund, please contact us directly before initiating a chargeback with your bank or card issuer. Filing a chargeback without first contacting us may delay your refund, result in automatic booking cancellation, and complicate resolution of your case. Chargebacks filed without merit may be contested, and we reserve the right to recover associated costs and fees.
